Trauma Healing & Shadow Work

Tracing the roots of pain and harmful patterns – and resolving them for good

Trauma is more than a suppressed memory

When we talk about trauma, many people think first of extreme events. But trauma arises wherever a person – especially as a child – was left alone with an experience they couldn’t yet process. An absent parent, persistent criticism, the feeling of not being welcome or not being enough.

These experiences leave traces: as beliefs about ourselves, as physical tension, as reaction patterns that show up today in our relationships and daily lives – often without us recognizing the connection.

Possible Signs of Unprocessed Trauma

  • Recurring negative relationship patterns
  • Intense emotional reactions to small triggers
  • A sense of inner emptiness or numbness
  • Chronic exhaustion or lack of motivation
  • Difficulty with closeness and trust
  • An excessive need for control
  • Persistent self-criticism and shame
  • Feeling disconnected or not fully present

What is Shadow Work?

The concept goes back to C.G. Jung: the “shadow” is the part of ourselves we learned early to hide – anger, grief, neediness, but also strengths that were not permitted to us. What we are not allowed to show doesn’t disappear. It continues to operate beneath the surface and tends to appear exactly where we least expect it: in our closest relationships.

Shadow work doesn’t mean dwelling in pain. It’s about looking at the split-off parts with compassion, understanding what they were trying to protect – and integrating them back into the whole. The result is greater authenticity, more freedom, and deeper connection.

How I Work

Inner Child Work

We visit together the experiences that shaped your inner child – to finally give the younger part of you what was missing then: safety, recognition, and unconditional belonging.

The Completion Process

Developed by Teal Swan, this process guides you through frozen emotional states back to their origin – enabling full integration. Often just a few sessions create noticeable, lasting change.

Hypnotherapy

In a state of deep relaxation, the subconscious becomes accessible. Hypnotherapy allows us to reach and rewrite patterns and beliefs that are beyond the reach of conscious thought alone.

“I am truly amazed by how the emotional journeys into my childhood and relationship situations, guided by you, have helped me in such a lasting way. The insights that emerged have significantly improved my quality of life.”

— Andreas, Client

Who is this work for?

For people who sense that there is more beneath their challenges than the current situation. Who are willing to take a step inward – not to analyze themselves, but to truly meet themselves.

Sessions take place online via Zoom, in English or German. This allows for deep work in the comfort of your own space – from anywhere in the world.
